“Who We Are
SJRC Texas, formerly known as St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, offers healing and hope to children and families that have been affected by abuse, abandonment, and neglect. In our care we provide a safe and loving home-life environment so that our children and youth can heal and thrive.
What We Do
Everyday we care for hundreds of children and youth from the greater San Antonio and Comal Area. Our programs cover the full continuum of care for children and youth at all ages and stages of life. We utilize a therapeutic model of care to meet the complex needs of children suffering from Trauma called Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Allowing us to provide the best care possible for our children and youth.

How Can You Make An Impact?
- Volunteer – We are always in need of caring, dedicated, and compassionate volunteers. Opportunities include: Mentoring, Tutoring, Rocking Babies at our New Braunfels Campus, Hosting a donation drive, Campus Clean Up, Assisting with Baby Showers or Birthdays, Special Events, Organize our Donation Room. - Donate – At SJRC Texas we receive 50% funding from the state the other 50% we raise on our own through events, grants, and individual donations. This accumulates to $2 million a year, and covering the most basic needs. Through giving you can transform the life of a child that has suffered from trauma.
